About Joshua Nunn
Joshua Nunn has been in the EPISD for 9 years at various schools within the district. He graduated from McMurry University in December 2004 with a Bachelors in Science in Multidisciplinary Studies. He has numerous interests in personal health and performance. He loves Physical Education and loves to play all games for competition and for recreation.
Growing up in the town of Abilene, TX, Coach Nunn was highly active in many sports and games from baseball, football, cross-country, and track and field. As he went to high school at Abilene Cooper, he participated in many extra-curricular activities such as football, powerlifting, track, choir, Biology Research Club (of which he was the president his junior year), and Senior Musical (Guys and Dolls). He graduated in 1999 in the top 15% of his class.
Coach Nunn's track career continued into college at McMurry University where he competed short sprints and the horizontal jumps (long and triple). He was a part of 3 conference championships.
He started his career with one year in Pecos, TX. The following year, he was given the opportunity to coach in El Paso where he is currently.
